Basically, been flirty with this guy for a few months, decided to have a sex only kind of thing because we're leaving for uni soon and stuff but decided to be 'exclusive' as it were so neither of us get with someone else. All was well and good until a few weeks ago when he suddenly became really distant when we were talking, seemed really uninterested in talking to me and barely puts in the effort. Is this a normal thing for guys to do?? Like I had a boyfriend for 2 years and he did this to some extent (I believe it's called being like an elastic band, needing to pull away and then they'll come suddenly springing back) but this is like literally one word answers to anything I say and it's really really bugging me because we're absolutely fine in talking to each other in person?

My ex boyfriend did this a lot actually. We'd be perfect and we'd be talking fans then next thing I know the next day will be one word messages... I'll ask how are you and I'll get a good back. But I wouldn't get a and you? Or you? Back... And it really annoyed me until I realised that sometimes, he just needs space... And after I realised that, we were all good again. Apart from not ending on sugar coated terms, we were amazing together
