A means of recording your accounts. Or appoint a local accountancy firm that can do this for you for a monthly fee.

Business registration and a business bank account.

And you have a business plan, right? If you haven't got a formal one, do one asap. It forces you to think logically about start up costs and outgoings, initial income and growth forecast.

You do not want to be surprised by something that could easily have been anticipated beforehand but was overlooked in the excitement of setting up for business.

For security have a back room with burglar bars fitted to the windows and use a floor mounted drop safe for your end of day cash drops. Once the end of day takings are dropped in you can't physically get them back out without opening it with a key. Get a business contract with G4S (or other bulk cash handling security firm) to collect your banking and deliver it to the bank once a week, and only bring the safe key onto the premises on your banking day! Easy.
