My current car is a diesel and is better on fuel than what my petrol car was. however when I filled the tank on my petrol car to the brim , I could drive around 70 miles before I saw the fuel needle begin to fall, but on my current car I fill my tank to the brim and only cover around 10 miles until I see the fuel needle begin to fall.

I seem to be getting a bit less mpg that I think I should be, maybe 60 miles less from a tank and I am sure that I should not be seeing the needle move from full till around another 60 miles ??

I am going to get part of the MAF wiring loom where it has been damaged replaced very soon, so that will help at least. I will also replace glow plus e.t.c
    any ideas?

    I drive a 2006 mk2 focus 1.8 tdci sport
