Withdrawn from course but let back in!- SAAS/SLC

I was withdrawn from my course at City of Glasgow College for poor attendance as I was too ill to attend (and was not aware I could suspend my studies due to health issues) :frown:
However, I was let back onto my course the same day I received the email from my lecturer that I had been withdrawn, after I had a meeting with him and explained my situation. :redface:
I am now attending my classes but my parents have just received a letter in the mail from SLC/SAAS saying that my Maintenance Loans will be stopped due to my withdrawal.
I was wondering what I should do because I need that loan for my Student Accommodation rent.
Is there anyway I can get my Maintenance Loan back? Will it start back up in March since I'm guessing I've been re-registered on my course for the next term?

If this was me, I'd speak to my personal tutor / the student finance team at uni. Your attendance would need to be reconfirmed to student finance, I would have thought. I've never actually come across this though.
