I wanted to put a few thousand pounds in a saving account and i was just wondering what percent return you guys get back every year?

Also what is the tax limit for a ISA? What is the maximum you can put into one ISA without being taxed and getting returns extra and tax free

From April the first £1000 of interest is tax free - the benefit of an ISA is that you can accumulate a lot of money tax free ie eventually more than this. If you are going to buy a house then the new Homebuyers ISA might be of interest to you.

Go to Martin Lewis website to compare rates - things like whether you want access affect your choice.

From April the first £1k profit from any savings account is tax free so don't worry, £15k for an ISA though.

Return right now is around 3% past the first £5k.
