say you got 280 UMS at AS, you could get 140 UMS (which is E?) at A2 to get a B (420 UMS) overall right?
    Is my maths wrong?

That is how it should work, yes.

Although I think an E is 120 UMS.

    Can't you work it out yourself? (46.6666 + 93.33333)/2=70 which is a B.

How could you possibly be wrong with your maths if it's literally just adding 2 numbers?

Because you also managed to get what is equivalent to an A* at AS.

I can see that just trying to make 100% sure you can still get a B with crappy A2 results. Don't wanna start slacking off and then realise it was a mistake

The only time that can be affected is if you want an A*, some subjects require you to get an A* in specific modules to get an A* overall.
