    Hi guys.

I'll try and make this short and sweet.

I have ADHD and Autism, which was undiagnosed when I was at school at 16, so I pretty much failed at school, as I had no help. I was diagnosed at 23.

I tried going to college several times to do my GCSE's, but so much went on in my life at those times growing up in late teens and early 20s, I couldn't do it.

Now I'm at the point where I really want to get my education started properly. It doesn't look like I'll get help though with studying, because of my age, and it's "too expensive" for them to fund a learning assistant for me.

I need to start from the bottom and take the first step.

I need my English, Maths, Science and ICT GCSE's really, so I don't know how I can get these.

Adult evening courses only offer English and Maths.

I'm in Southampton if this is any help to anyone, and I'm 25.

Have you got any savings left which you could perhaps use to study GCSEs?

Not particularly, would I be able to do day courses with 16-19 year olds if I pay for the courses then?

I'm not sure, but I think it is a possibility. I would contact college for further information.

Also, are you planning on doing further education? If so, it might be a good idea to apply for access course. Otherwise, you can start saving money for GCSEs.

Yeah, I want to go onto further GCSE's and A levels after that.

I want to study languages, both at college and university.
