I have been accepted into the LLB senior status at Queen Mary and Edinburgh graduate entry. My interest is in gender studies and law, so after I finish the LLB i plan on getting a LLM on that topic. To make it clear, I do not intend to become a solicitor (at least not my primary goal), my interest is more academic.

Therefore I am wondering, which school would be the better option? Is one of them better know for a gender studies and law program, or good at that kind of interdisciplinary study?
My logic is 1) that the better law school will be a good choice, but also that 2) a school that is better at my specific area of study will help me get a better LLM on that topic. Also, is there one that has a better senior status community?

Any help or insight greatly appreciated!
