# Algebra question watch

1. (Original post by maths10101)

Hello, I am having difficulty with answering this question, it'd be very much appreciated if some help could be giving to the solution and an explanation as to how it is done!☺️X
What have you tried? Try pre-multiplying by b^(-1), etc... post-multiply by the appropriate element till you isolate x using the fact that
elemeent * inverse = identity and anything * identity = anything.
