Hi I was wondering whether any offer holders or current students could advise me on which of the following subject choices is better for an application for Economics.

    1) Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics
    2) Maths, Further Maths, Physics, History

    Thank you very much!

    Option 1. Economics.

In order to major in economics at LSE most of the second year economic papers require the prerequisite First year Economics B (EC102) course. First year Economics B basically requires A level economics. Please check website as this can change.
They will let some students take Economics B without A level Economics but you could struggle.

Also most students I have seen on TSR with offers for Economics have economics A level. Note I am not a economics student.

You will need to show passion for Economics in your Personal Statement. Very hard to show passion for a subject you dropped.
