I am going to collage to take BTEC level 3 health and social care and i am predicted mainly c's, b's and one A* at GCSE. Why do people think BTEC is for dumb people? Will i be taken seriously by employers and universities?

ignore the two troll posts above. you can have a rewarding career helping other people. you do not need to be Einstein to enter the caring professions.

Yes to be frank, it is.
Proof is 3 of my friends applied for the same course as me with a btech, I got almost all offers(waiting on the rest) while they didn't get one, even though they had D*D*D* or whatever and I was retaking A2 with like ccc achieved lol.

It depends on what degree you want to do at university some are okay with btec but some prefer a levels.
I think people may be negative because it's fully coursework and no exams.
