I got D in Year 11, did functional skills (didn't help as I completed in 1 week but couldn't do exam till the end of the year!) then I went to homeschool and completed English in 4 months at a grade B (on assignments) but aiming for A/A* in exam.

Trick is to see the logic in english while remembering the techniques like how to write a letter, how to write an essay. Repetition of it will do the job.

I was like a C grade student at GCSE but ended up with an A overall

Which one do you need help with lit or language?
