How to get grade a in the wjec gcse english language? Watch

So I got a C last year with the IGCSE exam board. But, I have to resit English language to get a B for A level literature. Now that I am at college, I am resitting English language with a different exam board. However, I want to try to get a A in English language WJEC board. What are the best tips besides doing past papers to get grade A?

I left this summer with an A in English Lit and Lang. I got an E in one of the English lang exams I sat a year early, so I knew I must have been doing something wrong. I'm not sure if the exams are still the same, but I had to write a story for one. The only advice I can give is write a story before hand which is very adaptable for the title and learn it. For the other section, I just learnt a format and style to write in to get as many marks as possible. I got told I used to go into too much detail on the same point, so if you are the same then I would try to learn not to go into as much depth.
