For my art exam which is taking place in about 3 weeks I must do something under the title Past, Present and Future. Does anyone have any ideas please? I really need help urgently please. Initially I thought of doing antiques, old cameras and photos but I'm not sure about that now. I cannot draw portraits to save my life so is there anything that I could do with lots of different styles, materials and artist connection?
    Thanks!

Before you mentioned no portraits that is exactly what I was going to suggest.

Maybe you could do something like a tree? Starting out young and growing, looking at how people change over time? Or something which is 'timeless' like a diamond?

    do something with a process.
For example get a wooden outskirts of a wendy house or something and set it on fire. Document the different stages and draw three of them / reconstruction stage. If you can't draw buildings make the whole concept a specific style such as geometric art, pretty much anyone can do that. Or maybe look at futurism, would go nicely with flames

Maybe you could do a clock, and each segment of the clock is the difference of an hour. Like a pie chart split into 12 pieces. Each hour would represent, as others said, a process. Maybe you could draw a bigger clock inside that clock to represent the future. I dont know. Just don't strees about it, and the idea will come to you.

You can do something with religion and how it's becoming antiquated and overtaken by science... or is that too extreme. That's what I would do anyway :/

Dress codes. How everybody used to wear what we consider formal clothes for casual clothes, white and black tie etc and their various uses at parties and social functions.
