I will be choosing a course to study next year at uni. I am predicted to get DDD if I do not get the grades and I get MMM what will happen. Will I be able to study that course even though there is no foundation year course for that course in that university?

    Thanks

If you apply and get an offer for DDD, firmly accept that offer and then get MMM then the university concerned will decide whether they will accept you with the lower grades. If they decide that they can't take you with those grades then you get passed on to either your insurance choice (if you have an insurance choice - an offer that you put as your insurance choice) or on to Clearing where you enquire about places available informally (over the phone or using online forms) and then apply formally to your favourite informal offer.

    Thanks,

I think that if a uni gives me an offer of DDM and I accept and get MMM I might get the place. Due to past experience of someone getting into a uni course with less grades needed.

It's very common for applicants to be accepted with grades below their offer conditions - but it isn't guaranteed.

If you're worried about hitting DDD then do your research before applying and apply to universities with a range of standard offers that you like the look of. Then you can have a firm and an insurance choice that gives you some leeway if you miss your firm grades.
