No, I highly doubt that. Drink is much associated with the culture where I currently live, so even a week without alcohol is not a norm to most people here.

I moved to Japan in October, and since I'm under the legal drinking age of 20 there (I'm 18), I can't drink. I returned to the UK for Christmas and drank then, but haven't had anything since I came back at the beginning of January. I'm moving back to the UK in July, so it will be about 7 months without alcohol 😱😱

Spain. A glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away

Though I don't drink that much personally.

I drank a bottle of gin over the weekend and I plan on having a pint at lunch.

I've gone the past 18 years with no alcohol except for Holy Communion, however that doesn't count.

    How doesn't that count?

I usually end up drinking something maybe a couple times a month? Only been properly drunk thrice, but a little shot of whiskey when I'm feeling down helps to ease my thoughts...

Yes. Up until Christmas 2015, I didn't drink for an entire year.

Not for the last 9 years. I quit for over a month once when I was 15 just to make sure I could but my mum closed that down on NYE when she bought me 32 beers without telling me.

Last time I had a drink was about 1 and half years ago. Pretty sure that's going to have to change when I go to uni though.
