Arm pain - this is a new one!

Hey peeps. Since last night I've been getting a tingly feeling in my left arm whenever I sit down for longer than about half an hour or so. Occasionally there's shooting pains going from my back, all the way down the back of my arm and to the middle of my hand. It's really weird and especially because the first thing it made me think of was heart problems  but I doubt it's that, I had a check up last week and all my blood pressure etc was good...

So could it be I've just got crappy posture and sitting at my desk revising really isn't doing my shoulder nerves much good or something? I've never had this before so I'm a bit confused  the numbness is getting pretty irritating now too!
you might've caught or trapped a nerve. shouldn't be anything major. go and see your doctor if it hasn't stopped in 3 or so days or gets progressively worse, especially around your back.

Trapped nerve? Ick. I'll mention it to my GP on Tuesday, just hope it doesn't get worse!

definatly speak to your gp about it. it could be a range of things or even nothing at all. a b12 defciency can cause nerves to tingle etc. so hows your diet?
does it get worse after you eat fatty foods?
until then keep it mobile, get a better chair and maybe a neck rub

I eat loads of fish oil. My diet's healthier than it's ever been, unless Fab lollies can deplete vitamins, I dunno...
Lol, any excuse for a massage  woo hoo!

*waits for someone to suggest the OP is having a heart attack*
