The Student Room Group

We made eye contact and she looked down.

So we were sitting apart for this lecture. She had come in late with her mates.

At the end of the lecture when we were leaving we made eye contact and she instantly looked down.

Apparently eye contact is a dead giveaway, but I can never be too sure.

No idea what you're talking about. What's a 'dead giveaway'? For what? Lol.

.-. Did she blush? People make accidental eye contact all the time.... I wouldn't read into it so much this early on, especially if there were no other indicators that she meant anything more.

So she accidentally made eye contact and then looked away so as to not give you the wrong impression of a dead giveaway.

Sounds like you're clutching at straws.
She had to check that the moisture hadn't seeped through her skirt.

Honestly this isn't something I would read into. If you found her attractive and see her again go up and initiate a conversation.
