I hurt my left gluteal (if that's a thing), basically the left side of my gluteal muscles.

Is there a stretch for the gluteal muscles? I found one online, but it didn't really help.

It's not serious, I'm not going to the doctor's for that. I'm sure the pain will go away within a couple of weeks, but I just want to get rid of the pain sooner.

It's a bit tricky to explain but if you google it, an image should be enough

Why do you think you need to stretch?

Why do you think you need to stretch?
It's something I picked up while playing sport, and I don't usually stretch after doing sport. It is a muscle pain, so I think that stretching would be the best way to reduce the pain, and it would help increase the flexibility of my gluteal muscles, so in future, there is a lower probability of pain occurring there.

Lay on your back with your knees bent and feet on the floor. Then lift and cross one leg over the other, so your knee is pointing outwards. Reach and hug your leg, pulling it in towards you. Hold it and you should feel a stretch in your glute.

I will try this one too! Thanks for the description, so I didn't have to search it.

These are some of the lower body mobility stretches I do when I'm working out in the gym. It can take me anywhere between 10-15 mins.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8p6F...TGTS5WtptJpvn5 This is the one. The 90-90 stretch by Paul Chek. Don't over-do it though!
