Jeremy Hunt is the most disliked frontline British politician by some margin, a new poll shows.

YouGov found that Mr Hunt was substantially more unpopular than George Osborne, Jeremy Corbyn, and David Cameron.

The survey found Mr Hunt has a net -48 approval rating – six points behind Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who has also been panned by public opinion.

Just 17 per cent think Mr Hunt is doing well while 65 per cent believe he is doing a bad job as Health Secretary.

A year ago it was Gove.

    Before that Clegg.

    Before that Brown.

    Etc etc etc.

    Doesn't mean a thing.

He's lower than Corbyn, for crying out loud.

I mean, at least Corbyn has a good enough reason ("the establishment (read: media) hate/dislike him") but what is Hunt's excuse?
Why should he need an excuse?

He's in the public eye, no matter what he did some people would dislike him.

Soon as the doctor contracts thing passes - and it will, one way or another - the furore over him will blow over and it'll be onto the next one. Never ending cycle.

The most trusted group of people in the country despise Hunt? Arguably with good reason, but really his bad public image is because doctors hate him, not anything direct

Yes, the electorate are very fickle.

His bad public image is simply the result of himself, for the manner in which he's handled matters since he was appointed Health Secretary.
If there was just quiet protest, and not the strikes and big social media presence, I doubt he would be as hated

The interesting life and times of health secretary Jeremy Hunt.In 2009, Hunt had to repay £9,500 of taxpayers cash in false claims for his second home expenses.

In 2010, Hunt gave a highly paid ( By the tax payer ) civil service job, to the totally inexperienced young daughter of a friend – a Conservative Lord who’d been the director of one of Hunt’s companies.

In 2010, as Sports Minister Hunt once again outrageously blamed ‘hooligans’ for the 1989 Hillsborough disaster – in which 96 Liverpool fans died, a third of them children or teenagers.

Again in 2010 Hunt was actually caught hiding behind a tree trying to avoid being spotted going into a private dinner with the Murdoch’s.In 2012, Hunt and his advisors were caught leaking sensitive information to Rupert Murdoch’s office when Hunt was supposed to be handling the company’s bid to take over BSkyB.Later that year Jeremy Hunt told Rupert Mudochs son ( James ) in a recorded conversation that he was sure that news international would win the deal for BSkyB even though he had not even seen any of the other sealed bids and before the bidding date had expired.( David Cameron was also involved in trying to gift BSkyB to the Murdoch’s as a thank you for their tabloid support in the 2010 election. )

In 2012, Hunt was caught dodging more than £100,000 in tax in a property deal.In 2012,

Hunt was in charge of the Olympics security fiasco, in which he paid millions of taxpayers’ money to private company G4S who were so incompetent the army and police had to step in.

In 2013, the British Medical Association said Hunt displayed “complete ignorance” after saying he thought the abortion limit should be changed to 12 weeks. After Jeremy Hunt is made Health secretary in which he then immediately alienated most of the NHS. A book surfaces that was part-authored by Hunt, which advocates the de-nationalisation of the NHS and the use of a USA style insurance scheme.

Jeremy Hunt. A study in gross incompetence and corruption...... have to wonder if even his mother likes him
