Why does edexcel a level chemistry expect us to know things that weren't taught watch

    im reviewing some of my tests at the moment and i just find it ridiculous that they would expect us to know stuff like: KOH would absorb all the CO2??!!

    Seriously?!

    edit: add a few ridiculous questions that you've seen

    That's why I have never seen a university offer asking for an A* in Chemistry.

    but how do people manage to get a* in their a2?

    Actually, check page 210. The use of KOH is mentioned there.
    Also, CO2 is acidic, KOH is basic, so acid base reaction would occur?
