ummm... just a bit slow me but I'm wondering about MEDSOC like how it works and how its funded and stuff as I didn't get it whe it was explained to me.

You pay £80 for membership, then you are entitled to the benefits of the society:
-Free bar in the student union one night a week
-organised parties/pub crawls
-discounts at certain places

I'm not sure if the £80 is paid yearly or one-off :confused:

ok so essentially you pay 70 quid and u get free beer but say they get 50 people join up thats like 3500 to pay for the beer for that persons whole time at uni and maybe even longer is there also some sponsors or something? There must be?

Sorry I'm being so slow about this I'm just trying to understand how the whole thing works from a financial perspective

The whole medical lot sign up. The society receives a lot of subsidy from the union as it is a society and also has its own sub council.

Some Pharmaceutical company probably sponsors them too, nothing would surprise me at university
