What do girls usually wear to clubs in winter?

I've never been clubbing and will probably/possibly start going when I start Uni. However, I'm ALWAYS cold (well almost always) and since one of the things that puts me off clubbing is the fact that I can't wear what I feel most comfortable in (Jeans, trainers), I'm just interested to know how girls combine the club look with the freezing cold!

Most just wear what they wear in summer!

It's usually really hot inside so I wear like a skirt/shorts and little top but just wear a coat and put it in the cloakroom. Wear footless tights rather than bare legs. Wear boots instead of stappy shoes!

They usually freeze, in my experience

Winter doesn't seem to make much difference to what people wear. Once you are inside a club you will be boiling hot anyway, so just try and get there as quickly and warmly as possible and you will be OK. If you take a coat there are usually cloakrooms you can use, certainly in most student unions, but there will be a big queue at the end of the night so be prepared to wait to get your coat back. Other than that, I think you must suffer the cold a little.

the style of clothes doesn't really change that much, the colours are lighter and brighter in the summer. less black/dark colours.
Tops might get longer, or tights might get thicker etc, but generally it's just the same as the summer. You just hurry up at the end or freeze!!

Hahaha are you kidding me? A girl named Eskimo asking about what to wear in the winter!

I am always cold too

I normally wear dresses and tights, or tailored trousers with a nice top. And take a man with you to hold your coat :p:

Just the usual clubwear plus a coat. Although some girls will freeze their ass of without a coat simple becuase it doesn't go with the outfit or becuase they're too stingy to pay to put their coat in the cloakroom.

Plus more practical shoes...heels are seriously hazardous when icy...or drunk.
Knee length pencil skirt or dress. If it's cold I'll just wear my lovely warm hooded coat over the top and leave it in the cloak room! Easy

I never understand it when it's the middle of winter and some girl is shivering her ass off because she insists on wearing a hankerchief as a top and a belt for a skirt

I'm sure you can find a nice dress/longer skirt and/or boots for winter. Don't be afraid to wear a coat to get to the venue!

It depends on where you want to go clubbing.

If you're into alternative music then you can definitely still get away with jeans and trainers!

If you want to go somewhere trendier then you could still stick with the jeans but invent in a nice pair of flats if you prefer falt shoes? I normally stick to ballerina pumps and Rocket Dog do some lovely shoes

To make it a bit more presentable just wear a nice top and I suggest decent plain jeans, and definitely take a jacket or something if you're walking or going to be stood around after the night out waiting for a taxi as most places have cloakrooms you can use

As it's been said it's always really warm inside clubs once you're there. If you're going to be living in shared accommodation then you could always have a girly night out and they could help suggest what to wear or you could do this with some of your friends now

if you want to wear jeans, wear them but in black as there are dress codes in some places. when i go out in winter, its brum so some places have a long que. to make it look more dressed up heels(i find wedges easier when im a bit out of it) and a nice top go for 3/4 length if you cant be bothered to que to put a coat away. you'll boil when in the club but you'd boil in a tiny top aswell:smile:
nb you'l never stick out whatever you wear everyones watchin the idiots dressed up as bunnies or hen nights or the 60 year old:smile:
Why can't you wear jeans?

I never not wear jeans and have never not been allowed into places, and they're all blue!

But yeah I usually wear the same in winter or summer, I just don't take a jacket in summer! Oh and halter necks feature a bit more lately as I have found a decent halterneck bra
It doesn't matter what you wear- wear something you feel comfortable in:
A nice pair of shoes- that you can dance in!
Jeans are absolutely fine in pretty much any club you go in. In fact most trousers will be fine.
And a nice top (you don't have to wear a skimpy top either, just a pretty top will do.)
Wear what you would wear to a nice occasion and I'm sure you'll fit in.
Not everyone in clubs wears bare minimal!!!! People wear what they feel confident and comfortable in! Maybe its an idea to go to a club with friends from home, before you go to uni to get a feel for the experience of a club atmosphere- although there are a variety of different types of clubs.
Just enjoy and don't be too self conscious, most of the time its pointless to worry (-coming from experience)
A nice, long sleeved, but figure hugging top in a plain bold colour that suits, usually works for me (I'm situated near the Australian Snowy Mts for uni  ) x

Oh and wear with either dress pants or dark denim jeans :yy: Depends where you're going though, have fun!

When i got to uni i heard all about the "have to wear suitable shoes or you won't be allowed in" rules and i'm sure you couldn't get into a club wearing any old jeans in london!

In the winter- skirt, tights, boots, top, jackets. Usually alcohol helps you not notice the cold. And the tube and club are usually warm. It's the walking back to the bus stop that's the killer. I think i'll get a warmer coat this year.

Wear what you like, its usually a competiton as to who can wear the least (well in the club nr my uni neway) Mind you, its all Hollyoaks wannabe's soooo..

I neva take a coat out simply cuz wot it costs to put a coat in the cloakroom could be spent on alcohol! Get drunk b4 u go out & u wont feel the cold! By the time ur on ur way home you wont care lol!
I actually work in a night club and I can assure you that they wear the same as they do in the summer.

Hotpants, tops which just about cover their nipples 12 inch heels. The usual.

Then again I work in Romford Essex, which is probably far more slutty than average

For anyone who watched that 'Seven sins of great Britain' thing on Tv the other night- most of that was in Romford to give you an idea of the type of people that frequent my club lol
