I haven't had a period in about 3 years due to the implant and/or some medication I take.

For the last few days I've been getting really bad cramps that were identical to back when I had periods, although at this time sometimes they're just more on one side.

Anyone know why I might be getting this and if paracetamol will work?

Not pregnant - just took a test.

    Thanks

I get this even though I'm on Cerazette and even before I went on the pill and when my period wasn't due, I would still get period like cramps constantly and it always make me feel like I was on the verge of a period because they felt so similar to period cramps. Painkillers are how I treat it, that and a bath.

Don't know what could be causing it but for me these days I would say it's the pill but when I wasn't on the pill and wasn't due a period, I don't know what caused it then but it was a bloody nuisance! UTIs and IBS symptoms can also cause period like pain.

Painkillers and a bath will go you good. Sounds like the kind of deadly cramps I get a week leading up to my period
