Do open university give references?
If you have done say a short ou course and want to go on to a degree at a proper university will they give you a reference or not?

I got a reference from the OU. Just phone main office and say you want to speak to someone about obtaining an academic reference.
Not sure if they will give you one for just one short course though. I had done 6 short course, two 30 pointers and a 60 pointer when I got mine.
