You should post in Ask a CT about this, they might be able to help.

    Hi,

You are best off making a thread in Ask The Community Team, located here:
    http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1215

They will then deal with your request for you.

Correct! The best place to take questions such as account banning, deletions (and any other mod stuff) would be Ask The Community Team.

Why would you want to do that you're a bro.

If you insist then perhaps you could contact a mod to request for ban.

    Is that possible?

I spend way too much time on here and I've gone astray from my real goals, spending time commenting on threads and not actually chatting to anyone on here or in real life, just makes me depressed asf

You and everyone else on here are simply amazing though , it's just me that is the problem

I think I need some time alone to cope with life in general bro

I might just abstain from TSR for a few weeks and see how that goes, If that fails I will ask one of the mods to delete my account

    Thanks

I agree with abstinence. The trouble is, if you leave it to an external force to stop you (I.e mods banning you) then you are not dealing with the issue or what being on TSR is covering up. And also it shifts responsibility from yourself, and it's better to be in charge of making decisions that are best for yourself. You need that skill when it comes to getting over someone, or giving up any addiction. The only way to really deal with something comprehensively is to find the strength from within you and not relying on others to impose conditions upon you.

I know what you mean about TSR. But as you said there are amazing people on here. You have to get the balance right so that it's a productive, and not destructive, endeavour; that is possible, but it requires you to work out where the balance is.
