4 pins? Damn.

That's quite weird, I'm usually out the house a lot and have to sometimes wear it for 12+ hours, and that's never happened to me.

What the heck, all these times I've spoken to you and read your a comment, you're a girl?!
Man that's so weird.

Oh yeah I've never had a convo with you but I have had almost 100 identities so...
It's so weird because my approach would've been different now I guess, it makes your comments make sense now. 🤔

You might have a nickel allergy, where your skin reacts to the metal in the pin, causing the itchiness. Same thing happens to me so I think I’m gonna try getting pins made with different material to see if anything changes
Your hijab is too tight
Loosen where you put the pin don’t put it right on ur skin

I recently started wearing the hijab and I have got a scar/ scab on my neck from wear my safety pin usually is. It hurts loads and often even leaks fluid (i know disgusting.) doesnt look great either it looks like a burn. I need the safety pin to keep my hijab in place it didn't look right when i tried to wear one without the pin. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Salaam sis, this actuslly happens to me too, my skin is quite sensitive, and i found out that usually when i wear chiffron hijabs the material constantly rubs on my neck and leaves a burn looking scar that goes away within couple days, i suggest you wear a different material like Jersey, Its more softer and leaves skin not irritated❤️, hope this helps.

Yes, it is normal. I have been wearing hijab since 2015 and recently noticed a little mark from it rubbing. Tucking a bit of the fabric under the pin once fastened may help the metal from touching your skin directly.

Yes, it is normal and is from the friction of metal constantly rubbing on your skin. If you tuck a bit of the fabric under the pin, that should help it.
