I'll screen shot the email and see what you can make from it

Shut up I actually have emailed them 🙈 I made my dad read it to check as well and he said Email them and ask! Just didn't sound right as it already told me my department then went onto something else. I'm on holiday and been drinking, I'm blaming it on that... ha

Oh no, I'm reporting to Croydon. But it looks like we'll be working on the same department in different locations

😂😂 everyone's telling me it's the department we will be in! I bloody hope so and they're not paying us min wage! How badly worded is it though?!
It's definitely the department you will be in - where yours says National Minimum Wage, mine says Specialist Personal Tax
Original post by keeleyvic
I dunno it just says you've been allocated to national minimum wage so would that be actual national minimum wage i.e for my age would be 6.95? It's customer compliance officer if that makes my difference and anyone has had the same offer?

I'm 99% certain you'll be a NMW caseworker.

Thanks. I think we've come to the conclusion that it's just a badly worded email!

I got my formal offer from 1667/16 last night and they've given me an HO role rather than an O so I've asked them to clarify - they originally said 23,600 for an O role

I started on Monday and my formal offer also said HO but my original provisional offer said O. My manager is saying that in their system I came through as an O but I've asked her to check with HR as I came into the job under the impression that I was an HO. So fingers crossed.x

Wow that's poor on their part, you need to keep on top of them. They will keep saying that your an O on the system because that's all they can see, which campaign were you part of?

And when you say your formal offer was for HO, did it refer consistently to BAND HO throughout the offer letter or was it only in the text they asked you to reply with in acceptance of the offer?

No it was only in the text. It said 'we're pleased to be able to formally offer you a Higher Officer Caseworker role' etc.
