I might take english a at higher level next year but i want to know what everyone thinks of it. What are the texts that you have studied like. How hard is it? I plan on doing medicine in the future so my other higher levels will be biology and chemistry. Is it manageable to do biology chemistry and english at hl

As in literature? Well, it's honestly my favourite part of the whole day. It's not that hard, but there are a few essays and internally assessed things that contribute to your grade. We've so far studied Hamlet, Virgin Suicides, The World's Wife, A Streetcar Named Desire, and The Fire Next Time.

The only issue I'd see with your package is that Chemistry is extremely time consuming, and you'd have a lot less time in your week as you'd have two practical classes with your higher sciences. However, if you're dedicated and hardworking, it should be fine!
