    I don't get the point of these. Aren't they just dodgy versions of civil engineering? Especially the one at coventry. You could easily do civil engineering then take up an earthquake or fire engineering module in your 3rd or 4th year.Idk about transport history though

    Almost as if it's catering to a small but in demand employment market.

    I'm surprised there aren't more risk management/disaster recovery courses tbh. It's something all big businesses and government are all over atm.

    And I'd be willing to bet the typical student on this course is older than the norm.

    I'm going to do Arabic(and spanish but that's 'normal' ) at uni. Had a lot of "Arabic?! You'll get blown up/kidnapped/shot etc"

    I applied for Evolutionary Anthropology. Then went on to study Biological Sciences and History. But now I'm only studying Biological Sciences so it's no longer weird

    Not necessarily unusual, but I am now looking into German & Linguistics (honestly my mind is all over the place) which is more uncommon than unusual.
