    Hi,

Im currently studying Political Economy, and i'm looking to apply this to Social Research and the social totality in my postgraduate studies

Not looking to carry on Political Economy as the way its treated at masters appears to be a continuation of trying to blend the separated disciplines of Politics and Economics on the international level. (I take a more ortodox approach to Political Economy)

The question therefore is would Sociology be a good route to go down, from a Marxist Political Economy perspective...and from this what departments are there which have a research focus on -

    Class

    Mode of Production/Political Economy

    Etc

    Thanks in advace
