# HARD physics problem watch

1. There is a very tricky physics question which I couldn't do.

If you can work out the answer then can you please tell me it and also I wouldn't mind showing me your working so I can understand how to do it

Q: Two 8 ohm resistors and a battery of emf 12.0V and internal resistance 8 ohm are connected in series with each other. Calculate i) the power delivered to each external resistor, ii) the power wasted due to internal resistance.

total resistance in the circuit = 8+8+8 ohms

calculate current flowing using
I=V/R

using the calculated current you can get power in each resistor with
P=I2R

But how would I work out power wasted?
