    My school is taking us to Paris in July and we have already paid a deposit of 50 pounds. Now that i cant go, will i still be able to get those money back from the school

    I would think its unlikely as a deposit is generally not refundable. If the school is able to find someone to take your place then it may be possible.

    I'm not sure what the policy is for your school but if you Email the organiser and ask, hopefully they'll be understanding enough to give you the money back. But be prepared for them to say no, as that's usually what deposits mean (no take backs lmao)

    This is something you should be asking the school, as students on a forum who aren't part of your school can't answer such a specific question definitively. However generally as others have said, deposits are non refundable.
