    hello.
I had a friend from school who I was friends with for about 4/5 years, we met in year 10, and gradually became best friends from then on, we went to college together, but in our second year she got kicked out, we kept in contact but it 2014 she said she didn't want to be my friend anymore and this really really hurt, i can't stop thinking about it, we was so close, we used to do everything together, she told me when we first met she didn't really like me then, and we was just stuck together because we was in the same class, she was very troubled and i no i was mean to her on occasions and she was to me and used to give me the silent treatment she new i hated it. We used to go to gigs together and everything, but since her getting her first boyfriend she gradually drifted away, and me going to university didn't help our friendship either, i miss her a lot and it has effect me in a big way to the point i can't trust people and making new friends i just can't do, i have developed social anxiety and depression over the past 3 years and just can't seem to forget or move on with her.
    I think i'm crazy.

As you get older you lose more and more friends. People just tend to drift. Those who love you and don't want to lose you will stay in your life by staying in touch with you. It does hurt to lose a best friend but you need to try and move on and allow yourself to interact with others. Have you sought any professional help/advice regarding your depression?

Unfortunately people do drift apart, that's just how things are. The extent to which you're feeling upset by this is influenced by your depression and anxiety. It's best to talk to a professional and try to work on that, and you'll start to feel better.
