My first post here, created this to get some insight. I've studied rankings etc but they don't agree. I have been accepted at Essex, Edinburgh and St Andrews for my undergrad. Awaiting warwicks reply. Which one is highest rated, has the strongest IR program and has the biggest name among employers? Which one would you reccomend? All helpful opinions and views are greatly appreciated

Universities Forum Helper

Rankings are BS, ignore them. St Andrews certainly has the most famous IR department out of your options. Essex is the least good. In terms of general university prestige, I don't think there is any real difference between St Andrews, Edinburgh and Warwick. Choose whichever one has the course you like best.
