So I have received unconditional offers from the following universities for the following subjects.

University of Lincoln - Computer Science
De Montfort University - Computer Science
    University of Huddersfield - Computing
    Edge Hill University - Computing

I am also waiting on an offer from Coventry University as well.

I am wanting to go into the gaming industry but also have an interest in software development. Hence why I am applying for Computer Science. So those courses interest me the most. I have been offered Computing by Huddersfield as I do not have a B in Maths GCSE. I have a C.

I have booked open days for all universities for the next month.

I was wondering if there are any websites you guys could suggest for learning about code and other common subjects included in Comp Sci courses. Or books I could lend from the library or purchase.

In the past, I have only really done work on html, CSS and Visual Basic in Excel. I will need to learn C++ and Java etc.

At the moment, I am looking at Code Academy to introduce me to coding.

I appreciate any advice you guys give me.

    Thanks
