I am an international student, and this year I applied (for 2016 entry) to Acting Foundation programs at different UK drama schools. I have been accepted to both the Preliminary Acting Course at Guildhall and the Acting Foundation Course at Rose Bruford... I was wondering if anyone has done these and would suggest one over the other? PAC at Guildhall is only 12 weeks whereas the RBC one is 20, but as far as the schools go what do you think? Please let me know! I have to get back to them pretty soon.

I have very little knowledge about this so my post is serving mainly as a bump for your thread. The only thing I can offer is an anecdote, being that I did have one friend who went to Rose Bruford and to my knowledge had an excellent time there (though I believe he was on a much longer course) . Hopefully somebody with experience will come along and advise you better than I can.

Both are lovely schools, Guildhall I would say is more prestigious but Rose Bruford has an amazing atmosphere, I'd say Guildhall is a better school but you wouldn't be making a bad decision by going to Rose Bruford

Personally I considered both and have decided on Rose Bruford because the atmosphere is amazing. I suppose it depends exactly what you want though- if you want to be in the Barbican (gorgeous amazing place to be based) and would like to be surrounded by lots a musicians then that's great! Rose Bruford has less distractions around the town but is very playful within the college, there's more international students and you'll be able to get to know a lot of dancers (Bird college is v local)
