Sorry I've been at work all day, and I never did the ISA for science, so I don't know how it works, sorry! Have you asked any of your teachers and told them that you are struggling?

    Sorry!
We didn't do our GCSEs through AQA so we didn't do ISA. I did a coursework piece but I don't know how ISA works. I also know that it is unlikely most people can help you with coursework, as it will hinder your marks. You are best seeking advice from school if you are struggling. However, there may be some on TSR who know more about ISA but unfortunately I wouldn't know how to help you

What do you mean by the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro technique is a method which enables getting work done (25 minutes) then taking a short break (5 minutes) in between each work session. After 4 work sessions, you can take a longer break (15 minutes). No longer. The process repeats until of course, you are satisfied with the outcome of your work ethic.

My advice on this would be to do something active, grab a snack, drink some juice or something during that break as that will refresh you.

Put 100 cm3 of water in the calorimeter. ƒ
Record the temperature of the water. ƒ
Clamp the calorimeter in position about 10 cm above the protective mat. ƒ
Find the mass of a spirit burner containing an alcohol. ƒ
Place the burner under the calorimeter and light the wick. ƒ
Place the heat shield around the apparatus. ƒ
Stir the water with the thermometer. ƒ
Stop heating when the temperature has risen by 20 °C. ƒ
Replace the cap on the burner.
Reweigh the burner as soon as possible. ƒ
Keep noting the temperature – record the highest value reached.

Repeat procedure as necessary with other fuels
