    Hi TSR,

I have another thread entitled "Separation techniques" on this board. I have decided to break some of it down into separate questions and threads for speed and ease.

Can anyone tell me what the appropriate separation technique for a Iodine and Sodium nitrate mixture would be?

I'm currently attending to other aspects of my report and so haven't given this much attention yet.

Please get back to me as soon as you can. A reference of some sort would be helpful.

    Thank you.

    - A-tav.

I assumed so myself initially. A coursemate tells me the separation method is "Solvent extraction". However I would still like to know what yourself and others on the forums think.

Please continue to share you thoughts...

    Cheers.
