    Hi!
I'm doing some revision for my AS exam and the notes my teacher has given me in the lesson are much more detailed than what's written in the CGP revision guide.
E.g. he goes into a lot of detail about sand dunes: how they form, the development, the impacts and threats to them and how to manage the threats.
However, the CGP guide has only 3 basic bullet point on the formation of them and that's it.

Has any one else studying Coasts (AQA) found this problem? Is my teacher just being over enthusiastic and giving us loads of background info or is it stuff that I could be tested on and the CGP revision guide is just too basic?

    Thanks

Generally, revision guides like that provide you with the basic information that you need to know and revise, but to get the top mark you need to go into more detail than they say and be able to explain things rather than just state them

I'm doing A2 now, but I bought the AS revision guide last year and it wasn't much help. Though, it does have some good definitions etc. However, it is very basic, and I'd focus on revising from your class notes & online resources.
