What does it mean by "how is language used"? watch

    • Thread Starter

I have previously done many language questions however currently as it is a passage from a novel it is very limited especially if it is 19th century. I have commented on the use of certain punctuation however there is nothing else there. What else should I be searching for, am I allowed to comment on the words used? + how does it present thoughts and feelings of characters? ---- I'm so baffled right now ---- so can you please help me. Thank you!

You should comment on the language used and maybe the context of the novel in supporting this. You could also refer to the structure of the sentence.
