I really need help. Since about the start of December I've been getting sooo much spam email, but yesterday it got really bad. I got about 90 within 2 hours. I've blocked senders, but they just come back with a new address. I can't really create a new email as everything I've ever used/signed up for is connected to this one email, and this would take a while to change. Any ideas? I've got some important emails supposed to be sent to me soon and I don't want to miss them.

(If this is in the wrong place, please move)

I had this issue last month! I solved it by creating a new 'rule' for my account, which means any emails that come from a contain a certain bit of information (mine was something like e.wowcher.com) will be redirected straight to junk or the deleted folder. It means they can use different email addresses ([email protected], [email protected] and so on) but they'll still be caught so you don't have to see them. I use hotmail but i'm assuming you'll be able to do this with other email providers too!

Is the spam from one particular company or are there lots?

Lots sadly. Things like PPI, funeral care, debt advisors, viagra treatments (??), all from different addresses, pretty much any dodgy email you could think of, I have in my inbox
