Hi! I'm stuck on question 4(b)! I've had a few attempts and can't seem to get it right. It doesn't help that I cant understand the mark schemes method either

There are 2 ways of doing part B
You can work out the acceleration (deceleration) of the block using SUVAT equations and then using F=ma to find frictional force and then μ, or you can consider the mechanical energy at the start of the motion of the block and equate that to the work done against friction. Your choice.
