    Hello,
I have always wanted to play a musical instrument, but not a loud one!

I have recently been looking at buying an electric keyboard due to its volume control and headphone ability, etc.

I have been looking at this 54 key keyboard via Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/MK-1000-54-K...ctric+keyboard
But am put off by how pretty much every review says is was bought for a 6 year old girl. ):

I've been looking at YouTube tutorials and have gathered the basics of how to play, but is it worth buying one?

Definitely a good instrument to get, but that is a very cheap one.

Might be worth spending a bit more to get something better such as this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/YAMAHA-PSR-F...5725708&sr=1-4
... or maybe even this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/YAMAHA-YPT-2...725863&sr=1-17 :cute:

Definitely. Learn the basic minor and major chords and play and sing along to your favourite songs. Its so satisfying. I play guitar alot and play keyboard a little. PM if you need some advice!

Its better to start off on a cheaper one, you don't even how long your gonna be playing or get bored of it.

    ^Thanks all!
I think I'll see how much I can learn via videos and 'virtual keyboard' applications (if they even help at all) before actually buying the keyboard. I'll go with a cheap one

If you want quality you could go for an Apple Keyboard but for gaming and more full on activities on the computer Alienware is a great brand for that.
