# Binomial Distribution Help watch

1. Hi, could someone help me with this question:
During the winter, the probability that Barry's cat, Sylvester, chooses to stay outside all night is 0.65 and the cat's choice is independent from night to night.
Determine the probability that, during a period of 14 nights, Sylvester chooses to stay outside:
a) on at most 7 nights
b) on more that 5 nights but fewer than 10 nights.
2. Use the tables provided with an appropriate transformation for the stated probability.
3. If you have a scientific calculator which has a stat option you can do it via Cumulative Binomial distribution and sub in the correct numbers, Otherwise, Use the tables.

a.)
p<(or equal to) 7

b.) do it so 1-( p< or equal to 5) x p(< or equal to 10 nights)
4. Thanks for the help
