    i go to camhs and currently find it a pile of poo have not improved at all in 3 years infact i feel much worse i have tried explaining many times that my 'illness' is ruining my life eg getting poor as grades only to be told that theyre not also ive been assigned the most patronising psychiatrist that makes me feel even worse and made me hurt myself every time after i saw her as she was that awful and patronising shes under the illusion that im some sort of horny hormonal teen despite the fact that im pretty much 18, also she tells me im not depressed but undoubtedly sad and needs to find out why...

    Sorry to hear they've not been of any help. I think on the NHS you're entitled to a second opinion so to ask to see another psychiatrist but I'm not sure how much it would help in this situation, possibly worth a try though. Your best bet would probably be to go back to your GP and explain what's been going on and why you don't think CAMHS are helping, they should have a better idea what to do and know how you an hopefully find something that helps a bit more. Have you been offered any therapy or anything like that?
