I have no chance in getting into cambridge or oxford sadly..
    but here are my GCSE grades : 3 A's 5 B's 4 C's
Are there any good uni's other than them I can get into? I'm not sure I have the ability to do well.. I just started slacking during GCSE's and now I'm determined to do well during my AS & ofc A-levels.

 I know someone with similar GCSEs to yourself who did Maths there

St Andrews is another one that comes to mind (in fact it's another one of the top 5 for Maths)

Your GCSE grades for the most part are not important. You get A*A*A* in your A levels in traditional academic subjects then they won't matter at all. Apart from the commonplace need a C in GCSE English most university departments do not specify GCSE grades. Also, they will offer places to mature students who don't even have GCSE's as long as they have the A levels. They figure if you can get A*A*A* in your A levels then obviously your English skills are good enough.
