i'm hopefully going this coming October.......i havent been asked for copies of anything. when was this?

ive sent the accomodation letter off like 2 months ago.

umm...it was about 2 or 3 weeks ago i think :confused:

if you havent been asked, then they probably have full verification of your grades :smile:

unlike me, who must have lied about them so they have to check - i must sound like a dodgy person or something! :tongue:

and we'll hopefully be getting offers for accomodation soon - woooo! what have you put down as your first choice?

they wanted to make sure that i had the grades that i said i had! as if i'd lie! they wanted my GCSE and AS level result sheets/certificates. and it looks like i wont be getting my GCSE certificate back now :rolleyes:

dont worry about it though! you're just obviously a more trustworthy person than i am! teehee :wink:

i need 280, 260 from this year... thats BCC, ACD...

ACD seems realistic... i had 1 a level i feel ive done really really well, 1 ive done average n 1 ive done crapper than crap!

My sister has just finished her second year there, studying architecture. As far as I know, she loves it, although I've got the impression that the workload for architecture is particularly heavy. She lives in a house in Southsea with a few friends who are also studying there now, but was in Rhys Halls during her first year, which always seemed nice whenever I went to visit.

i've not heard anything about housing yet - should be soon though, seeing as they said 'asap, though not in june', and it's now july! woo! what was your first choice of halls?

p.s i hate you, cause you are definitely going there, and it's pretty iffy if i'm still going there with the exams i just did! so i hate you!!!! :tongue:

Call up the Admissions dept and see if you can get your certificates back.
I called up the accommodation office and it seems like we should hear something by 16th July apparantly.
I put James Watson down as my first choice and Trafalgar as my second choice.
What about you?
Really can't wiat now....have already made my trip to Ikea!

16th?!?! i'm going on holiday on the 17th! i better have had it by then. otherwise i'll have to leave a letter saying that i have been told my offer and i am allowing my mam/dad to accept it for me...and i don't really trust my parents to send it off right! :rolleyes:

i was gonna be going to ikea sometime this week i think, but my dads just gone into hospital now so i wont be going with my parents! :frown:

i think i might go by myself! start this independence thing early like! or if anyone wants to join my in cardiff ikea, let me know! :tongue:

3. trafalgar hall
4. harry law hall
5. langstone flats
6. bateson - large
7. bateson - normal
8. trust hall

Im going to ports uni too!! been lazy and took a gap year tho! just heard i got my place in james watson hall which is cool, was my first choice!

Studying Comp tech, sso im stayin nxt door to where im studying :smile:

Anybody know how early we can get up there before term starts?? im from guernsey so gotta take boat or plane which sucks!

its split into 2, but most of it is in one big chunk! and apparently theres a free bus between the 2 areas for students

ones Guildhall , ones langstone, not that far apart!

Good God... Where do you come from (not southern Hants, I'd say!)? You wouldn't get me going out in Southsea at night without a car (i.e. me in it) or some sort of weapon! :rolleyes:
