lol one of my flat mates was like "how much of ur student loan have you spent?" Me and another flat mate both said none of it, this was like 3 months in. She couldnt beleive it, so sh asked us about our credit cards and overdrafts. neither or us had/used. she was stunned! she had already spent her loan and her max overdraft three months in

lol! Hence y I want a job!! lol! Though the Job Shop have not got back to me yet!

Yeah I'm from North West London, a place called Harrow. By the way, we're prob gonna be in the same class! Freaky. Oh and did you get the letter through asking you to confirm what Units you want to do in the 1st and 2nd Semester. I chose Spanish for Beginners for both options...thoht it would be a nice break from all the businessy stuff...plus I speak Italian so Spanish is piss easy.

I'm not nervous at all...just wanna be there.

And yeah, I think there is a free bus that takes about 10mins. The Richmond Building is only about 5 mins walk from my halls...shame you didn'y choose James Watson.

How hard is it changing your accomodation? I been to the room i am staying in, i am on the ground floor, right next to the kitchen floor and have a view of stinging nettles in front of my window... kinda sucks, the room will be pretty damn dark.

Nope, I am struggling by on my own using tabs taken from mxtabs.com. The only really good thing i can play is the main guitar part from seven nation army by the white stripes! I must admit i think it sounds better on the bass!

To be honest i dont know, do you wanna change to somewhere else in langstone? I say call them up and ask. After the fire they moved alot of people so they had lots of spare rooms.

Well i dont mind where i go, i am not bothered about that, what i am bothered about is being next to the kitchen when people go in and out when the door shuts, i can most likely hear it. well langstone had spare last year, but call them up, they will help you as best they can. I was next to the kitchen and to be honest i didnt notice at all. Apart from the hoovering at 9am but u get there whatever room ur in! Just call em up and see what they say

Well when i visited the campus, me and my parents talked to the guy at the reception and he said i will need to go through to the housing department and it will be unlikely that i will get moved

get really friendly with someone in ur flat and they mite swap with ya.

Or failing the swapping you could move in with them!! lol! Just don't make too much noise! Its the only aspect of being in halls that I am apprehensive about!!

When i was there (i wasnt for most of it lol) some my flat mates made loads of noise talking in the kitchen but i think we kinda got our own back when my mate had archi work to do... or shall we saying hammering nails during exam time and using a saws etc. But there was just no love in our flat
