RAF Final interview

hi,

Does Anyone know what your final interview will entail with regards to the RAF. Is it another filter interview type, where i will be asked pretty much the same questions, or is it more of a formality where it moves towards being slightly administrative and making sure you still want to join?

Really appreciate any replies....

It is there to make sure that everything is still OK and there has been no major changes to your circumstances since the start of the recruitment process.

If you have got this far then just be honest and be yourself and you will be fine. It is not designed to trip you up.

Hi, I've got my final interview on Wednesday. I've been told its to make sure your still dedicated, motivated etc so it will be a lot like your first interview asking about the RAF, NATO, UN etc etc. Bu you should already know all of this as Im sure they asked you in our first int. Also to mae sure your still fit and that non of your personal circumstances have changed. Apparantly its quite laid back but bear in mind it is still a formal interview and they can drop you.

When is yours and have you got a prov date yet?
The final interview is a formal interview and as such you should prepare as you did for your selection interview (i'm assuming you are going P3 - airman entry). You will know your provisional date for entry but please remember it is PROVISIONAL and need to convince the OC of the AFCO that you are committed, motivated and that your circumstances have not changed significantly to adversely effect your application. Commitment will be demonstrated by your knowledge of the trade you are applying, RTS and terms of service. Motivation will be demonstrated by what you are doing to succeed such as fitness, etc. The AFCO will compare your weight to what it was during your medical. If you have researched you will be confident and are likely to do well during interview. Remember what was asked at selection interview regarding NATO, Trade training and RTS and do much of the same but ensure that your fitness regime stands up to scrutiny. As Tony said, never lie and be yourself. Good luck and relax....remember I'm 'Here to help'

Ok so if all goes well in the interview, are there any legalities to go through and what?
If all goes well in the interview, the OC will make you a Provisional Offer of Service. He will give you some paperwork to sign, a certificate and issue you with a kit list for halton, etc. The only thing that can stop you joining after that prior to attesting a Halton, is a change of heart on your part or a significant change in your circumstances...good luck
